Gathering in gratitude to complete farm projects

On November 21st, 2020, we opened up our biodynamic farm for a tour, and offered farm produce enhanced products and weavings for sale. Old and new friends joined us in the morning to share fresh banana bread and face painting together. Thank you to everyone for your contributions to this wonderful event!

Open House: Celebration of Life for Dana Allen

A beautiful celebration of life at our rose house

On February 28th and March 1st, 2019, we came together as a community to celebrate the life of our late Dana Allen with an open house event. Joyous memories were shared of our time with Dana from participants at Ka Lima O Maui. 


Love Is In The Air: Art Fair & Farm Tour

A SUCCESSFUL CELEBRATION AT OUR BEAUTIFUL FARM!

On February 9th 2019 we opened up our hearts to the Waihe'e community with a fundraising event to  raise money for our unfinished farm workshop building. We had tea and treats, farm tours and  organic items for sale. Attendees enjoyed face painting and henna, and learned about our  biodynamic farm and goals of our nonprofit.

Gemini Benefit Sail 2016

Our deepest gratitude to Gemini Charter Sailing owner Ming Shipp, her ohana and the crew for their generous donation towards our goal in meeting a $20K matching grant to install a wheel chair lift in Lokelani 'Ohana's new home serving adults with developmental disabilities with long term housing. Way to go team!!! The $20,000 was raised thanks to Ming shipp and Ohana and many other friends of Lokelani 'Ohana!

Biodynamic garden workshop is Friday July 16th, 2010.
WAIHEE - A workshop on biodynamic gardening and farming will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at Lokelani 'Ohana Waihe'e Farm.
The workshop costs $75, with lunch included.
The session will be led by instructor Jason Harris of the Josephine Porter Institute for Applied Biodynamics in Virginia. Biodynamics is a way of revitalizing the soil through the introduction of microorganisms.
Workshop participants will learn various composting techniques, work on biodynamic preparations and understand more about seeds.
